Emma is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing personalized, compassionate care. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, in 2020. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston, MA, in 2024. Board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Emma also holds certifications in personalized medicine and opioid addiction treatment, further enhancing her ability to support patients in need.
With a diverse background in healthcare, Emma brings a wealth of experience across various specialties, including emergency care, family medicine, and internal medicine. She spent four years at Shady Grove Medical Center and Frederick Health Hospital, where she gained invaluable experience in both intensive care and emergency medicine. Her ICU expertise spans medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgery units, equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of critical patient care.
For the past eight years, Emma has worked closely alongside Sheri Denham, NP, the owner of our practice, in a mentorship that has deepened her passion for substance use treatment and holistic, patient-centered care. Emma is committed to building strong, meaningful relationships with her patients, striving to create an environment where exceptional healthcare is delivered through collaboration, trust, and empathy.
